When is it better to use mono over flourocarbon line?
Answer: I have found I am using more flourocarbon than any other line lately, however when fishing top water I still prefer mono. You will have much better action as the mono is not as stiff as the flourocarbon and has less memory. Also, flourocarbon is a heavier line and tends to sink. Both lines are a valualble tool and have multiple purposes. I hope this answers you question.
